Buy one Echo Dot Kids Edition and get a second one for free at Amazon

Alexa, how far away is the moon?

Amazon is currently offering a buy one, get one free promotion on Echo Dot Kids Edition smart speakers. Add two to your cart and the price will drop during checkout, bringing the total from $140 down to $70. This deal is the best we’ve ever seen for these devices, beating our previous post by $10. You can choose from red, blue, and green color schemes.

For the most part, these look just like a regular 2nd-generation Echo Dot, but each comes with a kid-friendly rubber case in one of the aforementioned colors, one year of Amazon FreeTime Unlimited, and a two-year worry-free guarantee that will replace the devices if your kids get too rough – no questions asked. Spilled juice? Covered. Thrown down the laundry chute “just to see what would happen”? Covered. Used as a hockey puck? Covered. Amazon has your back.

Keep your PC temps low with these awesome CPU air coolers

There are several different ways to keep your PC cool, but one of the most basic and affordable is using air. With a decent air cooler like the Cryorig R1 Ultimate on your CPU, you’ll still get great performance and, in the right circumstances, room for overclocking.

Beastly cooling

Cryorig R1 Ultimate

With “ultimate” in the name you’d be hoping for big things from this cooler, and thankfully it doesn’t just blow smoke. For under $100, the R1 Ultimate is very large and heavy, but it’s also one heck of a cooler.

It’s universal to Intel and AMD sockets, packs 140-mm fans, 6-mm heat pipes and a sleek black finish that’ll look stellar inside your build. It isn’t the quietest, and it’s a lump for sure. But it’s also an awesome cooler, and that’s what matters.

A legend

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

If there were such a thing as a legend in the arena of CPU cooling, the Hyper 212 Evo from Cooler Master would stake a claim to the title.

Get your hands on the Microsoft Surface Pen for its best ever price

Express yourself with no lag or latency.

The Microsoft Surface Pen is down to $71.99 at Amazon in black. That’s the lowest price we’ve ever seen for it there where it usually sells for its full $100 price. You can also nab a discount on the cobalt and platinum versions at $74.95 and $79.99, respectively.

This is the newest Surface Pen and is designed to compliment the 2017 Surface Pro, but is backwards-compatible with other Surface devices. Custom silicon in both the pen and the Surface Pro screen reduce the latency between your ink strokes and the display to levels “virtually imperceptible” to the human eye, according to Microsoft. Check out our write-up about it and its newest features (like tilting).
